Once upon a time, I decided to pay tribute to my very favorite photographer ever, George Hurrell. To capture drama, who do you shoot? An actress, of course.
In deciding to digitally showcase some of my picture-making products (lacking a portfolio website, of course), I'm going to post some of my older work every now and again. Unfortunately the majority of these older photos are pretty low quality.

I really wanted this particular set to turn out as striking as I could make it without over doing it. In editing, it was hard to decide exactly what path to take. In a sudden flash of creative inspiration, I attempted to echo some black & white photography from the '70s and '80s that my parents were so fond of, and I am beyond happy with the results.
(Isn't that first picture absolutely stunning? This blog is quickly becoming a shrine.)
